PREFER (mówiąc ogólnie o tym co wolimy)

· I prefer doing sth to doing sth else.
( I prefer writing to speaking.)
· I prefer to do sth rather than (do) sth else.
(I prefer to drive rather than travel by plane.)
(I prefer to live in the country rather than(live) in a city.)

WOULD PREFER (mówiąc o tym co wolelibyśmy w konkretnej sytuacji)

· I’d prefer not to do sth.
(I’d prefer not to go there now.)
· I’d prefer to do sth rather than do sth else.
(I’d prefer to stay at home tonight rather than go to the cinema.)

WOULD RATHER = would prefer
